Thirteen immigrants protesting in 50 cities ahead of Trump's inauguration

Demonstrators of immigrants in the major metropolitan areas of the United States began to appear at the same time, six days before the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump.

Thousands of people participated in the demonstration, which calls for the protection of immigrants' rights and the embarrassment of Trump's election pledges, including the establishment of Mexican border barriers and the ban on Muslim entry.
Politicians, religious leaders, and women and labor groups also joined the protests. Washington, DC, Chicago, California Los Angeles, San Jose, Phoenix, and 50 cities across the country, big and small rallies and demonstrations took place.

The protests in Washington DC began with a rally in the Metropolitan AME church. Max Kim, a 19-year-old immigrant from Korea, said, "Many people are ashamed of their status because of hatred and intolerance of immigrants and refugees, but I am not ashamed of that status. "I am constantly reminding myself that this is happening."
